Grew up at this park. It’s safe it’s clean that is until the huge parties come and leave all there trash. But that’s not the parks fault. The grass is lush and well maintained only complaints a person may have is there are no public restrooms and only 2 water fountains but other than that it’s mt personal favorite park
Slice of nice in Las Cruces. Mesilla is the original townsite, along a stagecoach stop and the Rio Grande River. Imagine an old west town with Adobe houses and shootouts, and this is about as close as you’ll get. However it’s now a tourist draw (NOT A TRAP) where you can feel proud of taking visitors for a bite to eat and some New Mexican souvenirs. It’s easy to get around and safe too.

This is a nice, quiet, neighborhood park with a playground and water fountains. There are no bathrooms, but the community center next door does (whenever it opens again) have bathrooms.
Passing through town and found this quiet little park. Just what we were looking for to unwind with our lunch and chill for a bit. Shady picnic table areas. A playground if you have children. We let our dog run around a bit.
