I visited Rotary Park to take my dog to the dog park. To enter, you have to go to the office to get a code, which was new to me. I’ve never had to do that before, so I chose not to go inside. There was also a sign warning about coyotes in the area, which made me a little uneasy and kept me on alert. I decided to sit at a picnic bench out front with my dog for lunch instead.

Even though the coyote warning isn’t the park’s fault, it did make it hard to fully relax. That said, the park itself was very clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. It’s tucked away in a nice, secluded area, which makes it feel peaceful and well cared for.

Great place to learn about wildlife and other learning classes are available. Every now and then they have plants displayed by other individuals for sale. Free mulch is available now and then. There’s a dog park and walking trail for your pets on a leash. Butterfly cage and iguana cage are on the grounds, with certain times for tours and visitors.

There is about 1 mile of walking trails that are passable during the dry season, but they get pretty narrow the closer to the water you get. So, I would recommend pants if you really want to get out and hike further into the vegetation. The tower provides a nice view of the surrounding area.

Lovely park with beautiful trails. Very serene and great walking environment. Nearby glover trail still has a partition blocking access to the boardwalk though. Would love to see that amended someday.

Well maintained park on the water. The dog park has a “membership” requirement. It has two sides both with ample seating and shade. Dogs are not allowed on trails. The trails are along water and anytime water is wet in Fl, there are gators. There is a butterfly atrium and garden with scheduled tours. There is a community building but I did not go in. There are quite a few picnic shelters. Work out areas scattered around park.
