Overall it’s a nice park it could use some shaded areas and bathrooms but the dogs and people seem to be friendly for the most part it has a little play area for kids in the basketball court with picnic tables and a couple BBQ pits and it is kind of hidden so a lot of times there’s not a lot of people there which makes it kinda nice but make sure you put your dog on a leash when you’re outside of the gates or animal control could give you a citation
Lovely, large, fenced dog park! Lots of grass, a few trees, and benches. Bring bags, just in case they are out.
Dog park does not have a lot of shade. Depending on time of day, there are a couple benches in the shade to sit. Could use a better water system for the dogs. Has a dog fountain but you have to go over and turn it on for your dog to get a drink, and the button was in the sun so it was very hot to the touch, had to use my shirt as a buffer. Would be nice if there was a bucket and a hose so you could fill and refill like at the Benton dog park in Redding.
Good points are that it is very clean and well maintained. Nice, quiet and calm setting
Nice dog park : Medium dog park, maybe good area for about 5 to 8 (well behaved dogs) dogs to peacefully run, walk, sniff forever, no holes to trip in, has nice park benches ,also has a water fountain.
Outside the dog park, there is some parking and a picnic table , there is a walking trail also.
Down falls, there is no restroom.
Nice little dog park, but key word there is SMALL. It’s a half football field size yard with a paved walking path around it. Better than nothing, but unless you are local, I’d recommend heading to Benton Dog Park in nearby Redding.
