The food was not very good this time. I had the breaded shrimp with mashed potatoes & gravy. The potatoes tasted like boxed potatoes and they were not very warm. I replaced them with fries. The shrimp we’re a good size and the breading was nice and crispy. However, they were very salty. My replacement fries were not hot, but they were warm enough to eat.
My husband had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. The burger was very greasy. The onion rings were very good. As well, he added the salad bar to his meal and he said it was not worth the money.
The service was prompt, and our waitress was very cheery and pleasant. She was also apologetic for the mashed potatoes, not being caught.
Prior to leaving I stopped into the ladies room and they definitely could use a good scrubbing.
Stopped in for a quick bite before going to an event. I was seated quickly and order was taken within minutes. This is a family friendly restaurant with adequate handicapped parking. The food was very good and I took left overs. A nice place to eat after a day of shopping.
Breakfast buffet available, I chose menu with vegetable omelet, came with potatoes (cubed) and toast (chose Rye). The omelet was tasty and the potatoes were seasoned better than I have seen at most restaurants. Basic table condiments, had to ask for jam and hot sauce. Waitress was attentive and zipping around to others. NO extra napkins given or offered. Good meal. No one was immediately available to seat, but didn’t take long.
