Banna Park is a charming neighborhood park nestled in Covina, California, known for its inviting community vibe and pet-friendly amenities. The park features a small but well-maintained fenced dog area, making it a perfect spot for local residents seeking a safe place for their dogs to socialize and exercise off-leash. With its quiet atmosphere, minimal crowds, and lush patch of grass, it’s ideal for dog owners looking for a more relaxed alternative to busier urban parks.
Apart from the dog area, Banna Park offers engaging walking paths, exercise machines, and a popular playground that features a zip line—great for families combining playdates for kids and pups alike. While parking is limited and there are no restroom facilities, visitors appreciate the cleanliness, available doggie bags, and shaded seating under a covered bench. The entire park is fenced except at the entrance, ensuring added security for your pets. Whether you’re interested in pet-friendly trails, meeting other dog lovers, or unwinding in a peaceful suburban setting, Banna Park is a favorite for Covina locals.
Great little park! There needs to be some grass and more stimulation added to the large dog area.
It’s a clean & cute little park. I actually loves that it doesn’t have a restroom because restrooms attract homeless people. This is probably the only park in the area that doesn’t have a homeless problem.
It is a small cute little park. My kids love it! And while your kids play you can do some exercise in the different machines it has. You can also walk your dogs or put them in a fenced area to play around with other dogs ! The only thing it needs is a restroom.
Really nice dog park! Also the kid friendly park i’ve ever been to!
Will definitely bring my kids back. And when i get a dog too.
Only giving a 4 because they put the dog park by the train tracks. I have brought my dogs a few times, and it’s lovely except for when the train goes by.
However, I really love the walking paths and for the kiddos this really cool zip line. The kids line up for that one!
The kiddos even want to go without the dogs and just play on the zipline.
I also appreciated the plaque that detailed facts about the native people of this area. That is a nice feature of this park.
