Loving the dog walk and baby hiking. Picnic area (today) nice and clean. There are two kids playground n a lot of seating, BBQs, and views. Hours on google is not correct hours, it’s like most state parks (from sunrise to sunset.
It’s a beautiful place. There’s plenty of parking. However, if you plan to go there, go early. Because many people visit here, the parking lot can become full.
This could totally be a five star, but swimming closes really early and isn’t open Monday and Tuesday. That said, I’m so happy they’re there and take advantage as often as I can. Way closer than the shore and much easier to get to, and the little beach is nice and clean
A serene oasis, not too far from NYC, Philly and other hectic places – the air is clean!
Great reset spot with hiking trails, a lake, picnic area, grills, and a tiny beach. A great place to reflect, read, write, chat, soak up the sun, laze in the river and much more!
Wonderful place to hangout with family.
We went there twice.
Latest on Memorial Day of 2025 and before this, three weeks ago.
On first trip we found very calm, peaceful, no crowd, no restrictions and second trip on Memorial day there was a crowd but not too much, parking tickets had to pay NULL. No swimming allowed due to lifeguards are not available.
Fishing is also allowed there.
There are walking trails too, which are kids friendly as well.
Enjoyed the whole day both of time
People are friendly
Staff members are friendly too.
