Nice park with plenty of amenities including well-equipped playground and multiple workout stations, paved and well lit meandering pathway, Dog park with separate compounds for small and large dogs. 2 streambeds, 1 seasonal and 1 perennial bisect property, which is well maintained and dotted with a variety of new and old growth trees.
Only drawbacks are it’s frequently occupied by groups of homeless people whose idea of recreation comes in chemical form, and susceptible to flash flood damage during powerful storms…

Itook my Ruby here for the first time today. It’s not a very big park but it is really nice. Parking is near the restroom. There is a small trail with huge palm trees and a bridge that take you to the dog park. There is a small side and a large side with plenty of trees for smelling and shade and both sides have water fountains for dogs and humans.

It’s a very nice park, many fun activities for kids and workouts for adults. The park has some good shade areas. There are a few tables near the parking lot. It also has a small gazebo but not sure if you have to make a reservation or not. My kids had a blast playing on the seesaw and the Bear playhouse. There’s a small restroom but we didn’t use it. Parking is limited. Overall, we like it here.

I just discovered that this park has added an exercise trail. It has several exercise stations and room for others to be added. There is a childrens playground, and another playground is being constructed within the exercise trail loop. I’ll take some pictures the next time I visit.

Most people don’t know that there has recently been added a dog park where you can let your dogs run free in a large fenced area.

I just went for a walk there today (10/30/23). It’s really a nice place to walk or exercise. There used to be a lot of homeless people living there, but they’re all gone now.
The only thing that may be of concern to me is that there are usually a few people sitting in their cars in the parking lot smoking or whatever.

Playground: Dated, two different play areas. My kids had a lot of fun on the playgrounds as there was a lot to do for both older and younger kids. The flooring is rubber on the newer structure and tanbark on the older (colorful) structure. On the older playground there was some shade with multiple benches. On the newer wooden structure there was a moderate amount of shade but no benches.
Bathrooms: Multiple single stalls next to the colorful playground. These restrooms desperately need updating, as they were older stainless steel fixtures with no lights in them. They were clean but didn’t feel safe. The toilet was also too high for my toddler and I had to hold him up to use it.
Parking: Right next to the older playground and bathrooms in a free parking lot.
Location: In a quiet suburban neighborhood off a moderately busy street.
Safety: Many unhoused, very little trash throughout the park, plenty of people exercising and walking their dogs around. All in all this is a very nice park with plenty of mature trees for shade, a creek running through it, exercise equipment, a running trail, etc, but it’s not in a great area.
