If walking your 4 legged best friend you need to watch out for fishing line etc that I’ve found many times all over the place presumably by kids fishing there

Great place to walk your dog. There is a wide, easy 1 mile trail that circles the scenic lake, along with connection with the Middlebury Greenway for longer walks. Very nice.

Beautiful place to hike around the lake! Great outdoors/nature experience. No cost but not much parking area unless you park in Long Meadow Park.

Great place to fish!! Bring alot of worms! Went thru over 200 worms in 3 hours and only caught 3 fish. Watched a black bear go for a swim. It’s over grown on the trail but still beautiful
