The folks that run this place are always improving it,they’ve trimmed the brushy center back to the old rock wall that runs through. There are new very nice picnic tables scattered throughout. I’ve never seen waste and there are scoopers and bags.
The regulars are nice people and dogs

We just moved to Naugatuck and decided to take our puppy here for her first dog park experience. She had such a great time running around, exploring the large space, and even made some friends 🐾 It’s clean, well maintained, and completely fenced with a different section for small/shy dogs. There’s tables and benches around with shaded areas as well. Apparently there are walking/hiking trails near by but, we’ll explore those when she’s a little older. We loved it and can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely gorgeous place. Don’t be a douche and be chill when you come here. Thanks.

This is a great park, large, has some trees, plenty of space to have large group. It has few tables and benches has wooden platform. With additional benches. Sometimes I just go there to hang out. The only thing, compared to other dog parks, like Woodbridge for example, owners are not dislike t about picking up their dog’s poop. I understand the park is huge, but sometimes people make no effort at all. So in this park you really have to watch your step.

Large grassy park at the top of a (small) mountain. The park space has trees, slopes, and rock walls and separate sections for large and small dogs.
There is a platform with seating and a shade pavilion.
Bring a hilltop means that there is pretty much a constant breeze, so dress appropriately.
There was a bag dispenser, but it was empty. Trash at the entrance.
People and dogs were super friendly.
(Door magnets are SUPER strong, so opening the door takes some oomph)
