My and Fiancée and I had such a great experience living at the Danforth! The building is clean, well-kept, and feels safe and welcoming. The management team, Garner, Abby, Destiny, and Allison are all kind and truly care about the residents, which makes a huge difference.
I especially want to give a shoutout to the maintenance team — Dee and George in particular. He’s always quick to respond, super friendly, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. Whether it’s a small repair or an urgent issue, he handles it right away with a smile.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier living here. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-managed, and community-oriented apartment building!
So in retaliation for this review, after moving out at the end of my lease, the property management sent me a check to reimburse for the security deposit and the check BOUNCED. NY law states, that the deposit must be returned within 14 days. It took them 48 days to replace the check. My calls and email messages to Willow Bridge Property Company went unanswered for the duration of the waiting period. How tacky is it to send a check that bounced, after living in the building for 26 months, without EVER being late with our rent. Following a letter from my attorney, the check was immediately replaced. Zero stars.

We must be living in the apartment previously occupied by Amy, the post added one year ago. She is absolutely correct, the building is poorly designed and cheaply constructed, as a result the external noise and disturbances from neighbors are a daily occurrence. For the premium rent that are paid, it is certainly not worth the agony. The domestic disturbances and deliberate stomping are ignored by the property management. This same psycho-tenant forced the previous occupant out and is doing the same with us. Why would the Danforth allow this one person to create such havoc without enforcement. Living in a multi-family space requires that we are all mindful about disturbances, this one individual is extremely DISTURBED. Because the walls are so thin, she follows our every move around the apartment and march-in-place over our heads, which is very stalkish.
The management / owner response below request that I reach out to them to discuss the issue. My response: Please view and listen to the many email and voice messages that I sent to the office, since July 2023, along with several police blotters that were called in after 10pm.
We just finished our time at the Danforth Apartments, and we had a great experience. Moving to NY from California was a difficult move; thankfully, working with Abigail made the transition easy. She was professional, knowledgeable, and very responsive to all of our questions through email and phone correspondence.
The location was great for us, especially with a dog. Sure, there was morning bus pick up noise, and some noise from people who went to the movie theater, but it wasn’t extreme. The small neighborhood offered easy access to restaurants, a grocery store, and walkable surroundings, including the trailway alongside the Saw Mill Parkway.
Parking was never a problem for us, receiving packages was super easy, our neighbors were friendly, the pool was awesome, the management help monthly community activities, and the gym was convenient.
Thank you to the whole building team who allowed us to have a nice experience while residing at the Danforth — thank you for giving our family a safe place to live, while we were in Dobbs Ferry.

My family and I looked at many apartments in the area and chose the Danforth because of Abigail Guerrero’s responsiveness and professionalism while showing us different options. Since moving in the whole Danforth team Garner, Abby, and the maintenance team have been very helpful, polite and genuinely friendly. I would recommend the Danforth if you are moving to this area.
I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience I’ve had living at The Danforth for the past two years. I love my apartment, with all its modern amenities, huge windows that bring in natural light, spacious cabinets, tall ceilings… and! this is a great dog-friendly place.
The staff in the management office as well as the maintenance team are incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. Plus they do fun things for the tenants throughout the year!
I’ve always felt safe here. I knew I was home from the moment I walked in the building as there was always a lovely scent infused throughout. Uniquely theirs.
