Wonderful small park by the river. Great for cooling off on a hot summer day in Alabama
We love taking the kids here. It is so peaceful and the work that has been done is amazing.
Very small.
Has a creek that looks like it would be really nice after a good rain.
Plenty of shade.
One covered pavilion but no table.
Nowhere to sit, bring your own chair / blanket.
It is nice but there’s nothing to it. I was expecting a river walk, I guess? I walked the dog around in a (very small) circle and left. Good spot to put in a canoe or kayak.
Beautiful place to picnic, camp, or just to visit! Plenty of places to hike or walk along the river and even a stream with waterfalls running into it. We really enjoyed our time there. Very relaxing and the two old bridges make for good pictures.
