Nice quaint evening out to see the Christmas tree lighting and the luminaries offered by the local SPCA.

Every day I walk my dog past this park he stops and stares forlorn through the imposing iron fence. As I contemplate twisting the “no dogs allowed” sign from the gate, he looks away from the squirrels romping unabated through the lush grass and continues to plod down the cold concrete sidewalk, tail dragging and a single tear falling past his whiskers.
