A very nice venue for family relaxation and fun, with a cute well maintained beachfront, and meticulous life guards. Definitely fun for all, but the rules about residents only are rather uptight, something the mayor wants MORE strictly enforced. So if your family comes up for a visit, don’t think of taking them there unless you can cram them into one car. And you can’t even walk or bike there, because you must have a parking sticker to enter
Looks beautiful from the gate, but accessible only to residents, otherwise you must pay a NULL per person fee, and need to go to into town to purchase tickets. My son 5yrs old would need to pay full price. What a “free” country this is. A family of 5 has to spend NULL to go to the park for the day? No thank you. One star, just because I can’t leave less and the park really seemed so pretty. What a pity.
So beaches were beautiful however rules and customer needs some work..first time there and Was there and was kicked out over a White claw drink… not even a warning. Just you need to leave. The people I was with weren’t even being noisy.. we were watching the kids play.. and also noticed that there were other parties there with alcoholic beverages and they got to stay.. would.not recommend this place
What a lovely find with soft sand and a safe water play area for kids. They have a lovely playground with a small Zipline for kids.
It really is a tucked away slice of paradise. A beautiful white soft sandy beach, with a playground just off the beach, trails, a place for boat access to the lake and boat storage. My family and I have had numerous days of fun. My oldest daughter even had swimming classes there.
There is a grassy part in the middle for picnicking grilling just good summer fun. It’s private during the summer starting after Memorial and ending in Labor day (there is a fee for locals and out of towners ). However the rest of the year its FREE. We love the location and it’s close to home for us as well. No highways or long lines to get into the beach for us. Hope to see you soon. Enjoy and Welcome to New Milford!!
