Mt Zion Historical Park in Weedville, PA, is an inviting destination for dog owners and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Nestled at the top of the mountain, this scenic park features pet-friendly walking paths and tranquil wooded areas that are perfect for dog-friendly hiking or leisurely strolls with your furry friend. With beautiful views and well-maintained grounds, it’s an ideal spot for both relaxation and exercise with your pet.
This park stands out for its peaceful atmosphere, closeness to nature, and historic community tributes, providing a unique blend of reflection and recreation. While there is a large open field where dogs can roam and a scenic walking path around a pond, owners should remember to keep pups leashed as there is no designated fenced area. Shady trees, benches, picnic tables, restrooms, and a playground make it a wonderful spot for families. In winter, the drained pond becomes an ice skating rink with warming facilities and fire rings.
Very nice area at the top of the mountain with scenic views. Walk along the path and follow the story of Jesus. What a beautiful place to have church.
It was an amazing experience. I’m memory of my father. Gary Lee Clark Sr. Vietnam War Veteran. 🙏❤️
I’m so glad we stopped. It was a great reminder to honor all our veterans.
