Looks like burial mounds here. Sacred land. New dog park!
I hate to say it. But I feel I have to share. It was awful no playground or anything for kids to do. It’s be better off a small development. It’s just another huge fail on the city of lacrosse part.
Nice size park. Should have double gate for more security. Does have a couple bowls for water, but no water hose to fill them. I will bring my dog back there, but this park definately needs more to it for security for dogs as well as humans. A lady had her young child at the little park. He ran to the dog park opened the gate and ran in leaving the gate open. Then she yelled at one of 2 dogs, “IF YOU HURT MY KID ILL KICK YOU IN YOUR DAMN TEETH!” Good thing the dog was just playing, but there really needs to be a double gate for these reasons.
Great place to take the dogs got small dogs and everyone there has dogs that are great at socializing with other dogs and people that have dogs a little to overwhelmed stay outside the fence and are respectful and understanding of the other dogs and how there dogs are great place to meet people and let dogs play and have a good area with not a lot of holes and if some not deep.
Bring water for your dogs or dog.
People don’t clean up after their dogs, and the park is in a terrible location. You can listen to the trains and highway traffic while avoiding landmines.
