Somtimes it gets very crowded but all in all a really nice spot to walk your dogs, or to have lunch outside:)

Nice little park along the creek that has a playground, pavilion, portapotty and sports fields- even a lacrosse goal ❤️ small trail that goes down to the creek, not the nicest access for swatara water- not a destination location for water but if you found yourself in the area you could throw in a fishing line- I’ve been told there are snallies, largemouth, carp crappie and cat in here- the herons and the egrets told me there have to be fish there but I didn’t want the kids to get in the water here- smells rather septic.

We like to get lunch and go there to enjoy the lovely peace of the park. There are new picnic tables on a concrete foundation with a nice roof over them, at least one large trash can and a portapotty for convenience. It is just a nice, quiet, well maintained place for lunch without crowds.
