Augusta Dog Park is a spacious, well-maintained destination for dog lovers in Augusta, Kansas. This dog-friendly park features two large, fenced enclosures with plenty of room for dogs to run and play off-leash. The park is located near the center of a disc golf course and close to a scenic lake, making it an ideal spot for both dogs and their owners to enjoy the outdoors in a pet-friendly environment.
Unique for its separation of small and large dog areas, Augusta Dog Park ensures a safe play experience for pups of all sizes. Visitors will appreciate shaded areas provided by mature trees, accessibility features including wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, and thoughtful amenities like complimentary poop bags. While there is a human and K9 water fountain, visitors may want to bring a bowl, as the fountain is sometimes out of service. With its welcoming atmosphere and beautiful natural surroundings, it’s a highly recommended spot for off-leash dog enjoyment in Augusta!
Awesome place. 2 different sizes, one for large dogs and smaller dogs. They are separated by fences.
What an awesome dog park! Both sides are really large and there are great trees that provide shade. Worth driving a bit off the beaten path for you and your dog’s enjoyment.
Obi is loving the park! It’s well maintained, spacious, and he’s made a bunch of new friends. There is a faucet for water right outside the entrance, but you’ll have to bring a bowl.
Very nice location!! Poop bags are provided, lots of room to run and plenty of shade! Two separate areas, 1 for big dogs and 1 for small dogs. Highly recommend!!
A lovely little dog park. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because the water fountain (human & K9) wasn’t working.
I liked that it was in the center of the disc golf course, and so close to the lake. A nice area to spend the day outdoors.
