We had the best time. There’s a designated swimming area, with picnic tables. We took pictures of beautiful woodpeckers, cranes, deer!! The lake was beautiful, they have RV hookups in several different areas.

Came to race Tmbras Hard Labor xc race here and it was fun! It was a mud fest but absolute beautiful trail. I can only imagine how it is dry!

Worth the two hour drive from Dallas. Clean, relatively quiet, nice trails, picnic areas, camping and boating areas. The park fees are reasonable. Bathrooms are kept clean. I try to come enjoy this lake a few times each year. It’s a nice and relaxing getaway.
