Great park! Especially for horses! Has a big turn around for trailers! Great trails to go through farm, forest, marsh and river side so it has everything! Nice warm up pin for horses!

It was a strenuous hike with lots of hills, and it took me an hour, but didn’t seem to loop back; so I had to backtrack. The trail didn’t take me to the waters edge, which I was expecting.

It’s a great place for a quiet walk in nature.There isn’t much there other than a few trails for hiking as well as equestrian. The trails appear to be on the outskirts of a working farm. We took the red trail and it was a nice, easy and quiet two mile walk. The trail circles around a large open field but there’s a nice wooded portion of the trail that runs along the river. The power plants not.the prettiest but it still has some nice water views.

We did the blue trail with our 4 children ages 2, 5, 7, 10. They enjoyed playing with the sand by the water. We saw a snake, a turtle, a lot of dragonflies and butterflies. The blue trail is stroller friendly so next time we go, we’ll put our 2 year old in the stroller.

Good Parking. Easy to follow trails. Actually saw a Bald Eagle at observation deck with an info sign about Bald Eagles. No facilities at the hiker parking area
