This is a must, if you find yourself in the Metro-Chamberlain area. I was absolutely blown away by the sight as I came down the hill on 90WB. I was stopping for the evening and after a delicious meal at Arby’s (see that review), I went searching for the best view. This place did not disappoint. From the views to the wild turkeys milling about. It was a blessing.

I stopped for a quick look and this is such a nice park on the Missouri with beautiful views of rolling hills and of course the river. There’s a beautiful poem on a metal sign there that’s worth a read, “I’m Free” . Nice area to stop and get some fresh air.

This is a beautiful park with a great view of the river, bluffs, and the bridge over the river.
When I arrived with my dog around 7 pm, we were the only ones there, so I was able to let him explore off leash.

I love this park!! I first found it when I was staying overnight in Chamberlain in 2019 when I was on a family vacation. I got up early in the morning to get some sunrise photos, and that is when I found this place.
I was just passing through town again this past weekend, and I stopped there to have my lunch before I got moving on to m destination. If I lived in the area I would be hanging out here all the time.
There are some great views, and it is a very peaceful place to sit and relax.
