What a lovely surprise to find this amazing park that was once the home of the Mesier family, the home still stands and appears to retain the original current from the 1700-1800s (it wasn’t open).

Tranquil place. Everyone brought their lawn chairs and gathered around the gazebo to listen to live music on Friday night.

Very informative guides took us back in time to learn about the family that once lived in the Mesier Homestead. The museum is full of interesting artifacts, definitely worth a visit! Also nice gift store on site.

Very pretty park in the village of Wappingers Falls. They have events from farm market to evening concert’s. It’s small in comparison to other parks like Bowdoin Park, but very quaint and has the most amazing old tree’s. Lovely for a stroll on a hot July day as the tree’s make it shady and comfortable. Highly recommend it!
