Bowling Lake Dog Park in Lincoln, Nebraska

Bowling Lake Dog Park is a convenient and accessible option for dog owners seeking off-leash exercise in Lincoln, Nebraska. This dog park features a large, securely fenced grassy area where dogs can run and play freely, making it a great spot for active pets who need room to burn off energy. The park’s light use makes it a peaceful retreat, with plenty of space for fetch and canine socializing away from busier locations, and it’s wheelchair accessible with a suitable parking lot.

While Bowling Lake Dog Park offers the essentials for safe off-leash fun, there are some limitations to be aware of. We have never seen this park before and happened to drive past, it was a great large space for our dog to run. It would be great if there was a walking path but still a great park!

No water fountains or nearby area to get water. You can walk over to the park but it’s a pretty boring park. I only take mine there when he gets an injury but still needs exercise. Also no walking path.. Just dirt

I am not sure who’s been rating this so high. There is absolutely no shade, no benches to sit on, no place to get fresh water for the dog bowls. It is a lot of grass with a small fence around it. This is the worst dog park I’ve ever been to.

A nice, peaceful dog park with relatively light use. I only go when other dogs aren’t present to play fetch with my dogs and it is often free. It isn’t the most exciting park but it is quiet, securely fenced, and overall well maintained. There is a problem with dog waste being left by owners, so you have to watch your step, but that is my only complaint.
