Very beautiful desert and cool caves and trails to explore. Just be careful of the neighborhood idiots who think they own the desert.

Bulldog Canyon OHV – Wolverine Gate is an off-road gem! Easy access, great desert views, and a great mix of trails for all skill levels. Always a good time out here—just make sure you’ve got your permit and plenty of water & pack it what you bring in.. they have really cleaned this place up over the past few years.

We went on a night hike with flashlights here with our youth group—it was a blast! There were roads to hike and some technical trails to the top of the mountain for excellent views of the city lights.

Started around 7:30am. Cool but not cold. Around half way through the loop there is an arch on top of a ridge. Did an extra trail up for a great view from the top. Rocky but not a bad trail. After coming back down we followed the wash back to the service road. Sadly we saw many areas where campers had left garbage by their campsites. Pack it in pack it out.
