Me and my dog love this place. Very large park with a lot of hiking trails and open areas for play and fetch. There’s a few large ponds for your dog to swim and get muddy in (allow your dog to be a dog). Wouldn’t recommend bringing a puppy or anxious dog here. Its pretty busy.
Probably the best dog park in the Twin Cities. Trash cans are provided. Multiple beaches for dog swimming. Restroom provided in parking lot. Big enough to get lost in and no maps. Lots of trails. Several open grassy areas for play but mostly wooded.
The park is very well maintained and free of major obstacles we’ve been here several times and the dogs just love it. The parks watering hole as I refer to it is our lab’s fav spot as you can see for yourself.
Great place! So far dogs have all been nice unlike Minnehaha in Mpls. A couple ponds….water stations and most of all other dogs to frolic with mine!
Our favorite dogs park in the cities! Huge with lots of walking paths, varied landscape and multiple pods for dogs to swim in. It’s a popular one that usually has many for your pup to play with. Plenty of stops along the way to dispose of poop bags. There is even a little free library in the big field area. In the winter I highly recommend crampons or some sort of footwear meant for ice. The high traffic makes it very slippery and it is quite hilly in places.
