Cos Cob Park is a welcoming green space in Greenwich, Connecticut, known for its beautiful waterfront views and relaxed, community-friendly atmosphere. While the park isn’t specifically a traditional dog park, it is pet-friendly, allowing dogs to join you as you enjoy scenic walking paths, observe boats on the bay, or relax on one of many benches scattered throughout the area.
The park offers a variety of amenities including accessible paved paths, a playground, picnic tables, public restrooms, and a touching World Trade Center memorial. Families will appreciate the playground and picnic spots, while dog owners can take advantage of the pet-friendly trails and open park layout. While strict dog rules are enforced and off-leash areas are not designated, Cos Cob Park still makes for a lovely spot to bring your leashed furry friend to enjoy the Greenwich shoreline.
Not much for adults, but the size & scenery makes up for it. Lots of kids activities like a Soccer ⚽️ field, & a Playground. Somewhat dog friendly, tho very strict dog rules here. Drones are banned unfortunately. No dock access, unless you cross the river & asks them residents to borrow their yachts. There’s no picnic area, unless you feel like having lunch at the benches.
Beautiful park, unfortunately no biking lanes.
Nice park in Greenwich with a great view of the bay. Can watch boats and rowing teams practice. Clean rest rooms available as well as open areas for picnics.
Small but very beautiful and relaxing park, watching the water and lots of benches to sit and enjoy the quietness.
Although it’s not a large park, what it does it does quite well. We were there on a beautiful afternoon so had great views of the 1%’s houses across the water. The park is clean and well tended. There’s easy walking paths, a small playground, and a very moving memorial to those local citizens who died in the World Trade Center and the other targets of attack that awful day. Very well designed and interesting, not overwhelming for the size or situation of the place. A nice, quiet place all around.
