Love this space! They have a map at the parking lot for those who want to see where the trails are set up at which is very helpful!

Traylor Ranch bird sanctuary is a lovely place. There are quite a few beautiful trees– some quite old. The best part for me personally was the fact that the walking trails are nice and flat, making it the perfect place for people with mobility issues to get out and get a little exercise. We didn’t see very many birds, but that just might have been the time of day or time of year. I look forward to going back when the weather is cool again.

Great walking paths and lots of bird sightings. I appreciated the listing of birds they had posted and the seasons you could expect to encounter them. I used the Alltrails map and walked every trail in a nice loop. I’ll be bask to find those birds I didn’t see on this visit.

Calm and quiet with over a hundred species of birds 🦅 flying around, old Indian grinding stones.

As advertised. Well-marked trails that are easy to follow. The number of birds you see will vary with the season. At the end of May on my visit I saw turkey vultures, mockingbirds, goldfinches, oak titmouse, beautiful swallows and red wing blackbird. This is a very nice place to visit. Highly recommended. Plenty of parking. No toilets. No picnic tables. Nothing for the little kids. I imagine they would get bored. No handicapped parking. You can ride your horse here.
