I‘ve never felt so unwelcome like at this place! I wasn‘t even going to the park itself but was just dropping off and picking up my kids from the sailing school located there. I had to pay for my kids‘ parking pass every day (although I they didn’t even parked anything and neither did I). Ok, buying passes is ok. But I had to leave my driver licenses at the booth every time when I had to pick my kids up, which I didn’t feel comfortable to do at all. Staff was very rude, no normal explanation from them. I felt like I owe them. When this sailing school is over, I will never come to this park again!! At this place only Greenwich residents are welcome!
This is a beautifully maintained park/beach. We had a wonderful afternoon walking and enjoying the coastal trails. There was a NULL parking fee and NULL/person admission fee which was easily purchased on their website ahead of our visit since we’re not residents. You definitely get what you pay for – the grounds and facilities were very clean and the park not crowded at all for a gorgeous day.
Well maintained park with stunning, unique landscape. Unmatched views of NYC and never fails to show a good sunset. Can be tricky getting in sometimes as the roads and narrow and usually have a lot of traffic, but the park is worth it. Very dog-friendly. Nice long walks as well as a good sized beach. Plenty of parking throughout.
We came here birding in the winter. Beautiful Park. No one at the gate. Beaches spectacular. Drive, and stop to see the views along the route. Pay attention to the roads some are one ways. Holly groves get out 4 a brief wander. Get in car check out next veiw and so on. Great off season b place if not a local if you are in the area. Owls, eagles, deer, birds, joggers, dog walkers, birders, sorry not sure about cyclists.
