The Lawrence Township Dog Park offers a spacious, fully fenced area perfect for dogs to run and play off-leash. Located just outside the main roads of Clearfield, PA, this pet-friendly park is appreciated for its safety, especially as it’s set back from busy streets, reducing worries about pets escaping. The large grassy space provides ample room for pups to socialize and exercise, making it a welcoming stop for locals and road trippers alike.
While the park is well-maintained and features benches for owners, it’s still a work in progress. There are a few young trees and some seating, but currently no substantial shade or water fountain, so visitors should bring their own water and prepare for exposure to sun or rain. Easy, wheelchair-accessible parking is available, and visitors say the environment is friendly and considerate, ensuring a positive experience for both dogs and their people. This enjoyable community spot is a much-needed amenity for dog owners in Clearfield, Pennsylvania.
Lots of space for our pups to run. Distant enough from roads to worry about escaped pets should that happen.
A dog friendly environment for play and socialization. So far people have been considerate about introducing new dogs and cleaning up after themselves.
It’s a big fenced in area with a few small trees, one bench and no water for the dogs, so be sure to bring your own. No shade whatsoever from the heat or sudden down pour.
Very nice dog park, perfect for a stop on a road trip. Really quiet and well maintained.
