Different design. Signage for some history. Sidewalk paths for walking. No amenities. Leashed dog friendly.

Nice, clean, pleasant small park. I take my little dog there, for a short walk, and for time to spend outdoors in a safe place. The park is surrounded by busy streets, so you know you can sit and relax without being worried about problems from suspicious people. The benches are comfortable, the historical landmarks have a lot of information, and education about the effects of war on soldiers. Sunny, not much shade, so go on a day when you won’t mind the heat. Good well-kept landscaping. We usually visit Freedom Park in the winter or early spring.

Nice wide walking path. Finally got a chance to stop and visit. Benches and interesting plaques to read during a light walk. Enjoyed stopping.

An odd place for a park, but it is a quaint little park with some interesting history. Great for a little walk with your dog or to relax. Traffic in the area isn’t too bad most of the day and doesn’t take away from the peacefulness of the park.
