Spent the 3rd of July at La Mirada Regional Park and had a great time! It was really cool to see hundreds of people gathered together, all enjoying the holiday with family and friends. The atmosphere was festive, relaxed, and full of good energy. People were grilling, playing games, and just soaking in the summer vibes. It felt like a true community celebration. Definitely a memorable way to spend Independence Day!

Love taking the dog to this park it’s got a fairly decent size walking trail with a mixture of hills. Has nice playgrounds nice baseball fields a little workout area. It also has a fishing lake which I love catching bass in You have to have a fishing license to do that though and is catch and release of course. During trout season they stock it and you can take those home. They also have tennis courts which are normally pretty busy. Perfect place to have a birthday party for a kids.

This park is perfect for toddlers. The playground was build for ages 2-5. It’s clean. Parking is close by. There’s plenty of ducks, geese, squirrels and blue Jay’s hanging around. There’s a little lake near by where you can fish. Lots of families are walking around the water, taking a stroll. There is also Frisbee golf here so you’ll see people playing games all throughout the park. There’s cement picnick tables and a couple benches around the playground for parents. The restrooms are clean and provide soap. It’s handicap accessible but the kid’s kept tripping over the elevated part of the ramp. Most kids learned their lesson after the first fall but it’s still not safe. I didn’t give 5 stars because there were a few little things that could have been done better, for example, I wish the play area was enclosed with a fence since there’s a large body of water so close. There’s also groups of people playing Frisbee golf just a few feet away from the playground. Obviously you need to watch your kids at all times. But a gate would be a nice precaution. After all that being said, it’s still one of our new go to parks and we love it.
