Located in the heart of Washington, District of Columbia, The Playground At Ledroit Park is a neighborhood destination that combines family fun with pet-friendly spaces. This dog park features a designated area within the larger park, making it a welcoming spot for local dog owners looking for a convenient, accessible place for their pups to play. The park is noted for being wheelchair accessible, making it an inclusive choice for visitors of all abilities.
What sets this park apart is its dual fenced playgrounds and separate fencing for small children, giving peace of mind to families and dog owners alike. Reviews mention a friendly, neighborhood vibe, with space for small dogs and older ones to enjoy. While the park’s cleanliness can vary, its 24/7 unlocked access and dog-friendly amenities make it a local favorite for casual visits rather than a major destination. You’ll also find a small splash pad for kids and a relaxed community atmosphere throughout the park.
Small playground, kinda dirty. Dog park. If you are in the area, ok, but not a destination.
Very friendly place, a real neighborhood joint. The owner makes very rich chocolate chip cookies…
The splash pad is tiny, more for toddler aged kids. Still nice tho!!
Two fenced in playgrounds that are unlocked 24/7. The playground for small children has its own separate fencing to keep the big kids from over running the small children. The park lost one star for cleanliness. There is a fun farm and dog park nearby.
One of the nicest park specially for kids. It has two different play ground for lil kids and and older kids. How quiet and out of the way makes this park Unique unlike the other ones on the Main Street. They also had a Dog park within the park designated for small Dogs and older ones.
