It’s a pretty long trail for a decent workout, but it discontinue for long distance. Gravel part of the trail is good and scenic but the asphalt part of the trail has lots of bumps and wide cracks, for ride to be rough on you and your bike.
Absolutely a beautiful a place to bike . The bike trail are so clean and well kept and a smooth ride along the beach/Bay Area.
I didn’t get to ride the whole trail so I can enjoy the beach as well.

Beautiful location. They have enough parking, easy access to the water, outside shower, bathroom, off leash dog park, and the start of the Henry Hudson trail. I rode my bike from here to Keyport and back. I enjoyed the views especially near Popamora Point. I would come back here for sure.

Nice quiet calming trail . You can choose to sit at the beach and relax, bring your dog to the safe fenced in dog park, or walk the paved path. If going in the summer months come early parking is very limited.

I love this trail, sometimes it can be over crowded with ppl who like to bring their wheels out (bikes, strollers, scooters etc) but overall this is a beautiful trail that over looks a beach and you can see the city fin you look closely. Ppl fish here as well, there’s picnic tables and the bathrooms are always clean. Everyone is usually nice and says hello/hi when walking pass each other. My kids love it here, we visit often.

Very nice trail. You can see NYC and Verrazano bridge from a distance. Also very close to Sandy Hook. I only recommend going through the trail. Sandy Hook would be a better option for swimming. (Please note these images were enhanced a bit by myself. Water clarity on this side of the US is very bad for obvious reasons, but still recommend to check it out)
