It was green very green. It was nice to cut. No trash laying around. I wish the j John would have been open. Other than that it was a very nice park

Large park tucked away and quiet. Plenty of shade trees, amazing place for your favorite pet to run around, and it’s a park you can relax at.

Garfield Park is a big open field that is often used for team sports practice including soccer, football and cheerleading. It’s also a favorite location for neighborhood locals to walk their dogs and a great spot to fly a kite on a windy day. There is no playground equipment, but there are a few picnic tables and a basketball court. Parking lot is accessible only from 4th Street. The parking lot, basketball court, and picnic areas are not well or regularly maintained; there tends to be a lot of trash scattered on the ground, broken glass, and the trash cans are often overflowing. The basketball court has seen better days and is often littered.

Very nice park I would have given it a five star but unfortunately there are irresponsible pet owners who don’t pickup after the pets almost landed on a land mine of poop. Great shades area. Park benches etc

Pretty park big enough to fly kites. Have a few games of soccer going. Has picnic tables with plenty of grass. Access to basketball courts and baseball field as well. Very pretty during the summer and part of the free lunch program for families. Dog friendly as well.
