I tried everything, and I mean EVERYTHING to help my working line GSD with her reactivity. She was a terror on a walk. I worked with other local trainers, even worked with another out-of-state trainer looking for solutions. Within four sessions with Tara my dog Isolde was (amazingly!) able to pass dogs along the trail today without reacting! And Tara’s dog Lightening was so good and patient with her. Everything Tara taught me was clearly explained and easy to follow. All I had to do was stick with the program and do the necessary work. And it worked beautifully! I have so much confidence going out in public now, I feel like I can take my girl with me anywhere. Thanks goodness I found Tara! Don’t hesitate, call her today.

Mister and I nominate Bigfork Dog Training for Best Dog Training in the Best Of Flathead 2025!! Mister spent 4 weeks in Tara’s Board and Train and although it was hard being separated, Tara sent daily videos of how Mister was doing. I could see that Mister was learning lots and he was tuned into Tara. I was happy to see he was happy with her training style and so was I. Her knowledge of dogs and her knowledge of training are top notch. We’ve been to several trainers and Tara is the best!!

We have a boy that was very anxious after a bit in the shelter. I spent a few hours looking for a dog trainer and am so so grateful for the quick response. The work she did for our boy was amazing. I pray that our next dog isn’t as anxious, but with rescuing you never know- if so I would send them here! The improvement is wonderful and she makes it a point to equip you for the behavior after training. I am so grateful! (The photo with the ball is from Tara. Recognizing that he needed additional attention, we opted to extend his training for an extra week. This decision proved to be invaluable.
