We love walking the paths of Folly Lick Park. The path is well maintained and is a great way to walk through nature just a short walk from our home. It’s a joy to hear all of the bird song and see the many other creatures and plants thriving along the stream.

This trail does not have public parking. It’s meant for pedestrians only. If you attempt to follow the address on Google maps, it will either lead you to a private neighborhood (Bal Harbour Ct) or a 3-way stoplight intersection (Cliveden St).

A nice area to enjoy a bit of nature. It’s clean (not seen any plastic rubbish around, hurrah) and filled with bird song. As usual, be careful with the little creek; it seems it can get a bit rough after heavy showers.

I feel so blessed to have a creek and slice of forest in my neighborhood where my kids can play. We see, turtles, heron, geese, owls, squirrels and deer there quite often. If you’re lucky, you can spot a fox, rabbit or a snake. The forest is beautiful, mostly clean, has lots of wildflowers and interesting plants. I love to plein-air paint here.
