Disc Golf Only: I’d give it 4 stars because I think it is one of the better courses in the valley. However, it gets really muddy really quick on the course and I think we will see a lot of erosion issues within just a few years. They need to invest a little more money into this park to keep it around for many years to come

Von Baer Park is a really fun disc golf course. It’s very technical with lots of trees and elevation changes. There are nice tee pads and signs and two tee pads and baskets on every hole. The yellow baskets were the original course and the green were later donated by Infinite Discs to give more variety for the adventurous player.

However, the consequences of bad throws are extreme. Release early or late and you might be hiking or spending thirty minutes looking for your disc.

I don’t recommend this course for beginners or those not in good physical shape, even though it’s the course I learned to play disc golf at. The Von Baer Park disc golf course is the reason there is an Infinite Discs today, so it will always have a special place in my heart.

The city needs to move the large semi truck and flatbed that is taking up all the parking here! other than that we love this park so much! It has the most lovely colors in the fall! We did discover a trail of “blood” that had my children frightened to death, which led to a creepy doll hanging from a tree. Hats off to the prankster, it was subtle, eeire, and hilarious.
