After missing an exit and deciding not to drive back into the traffic, we made a slight detour and ended up here. We did the Hamilton’s and Great Hill Loop and it was unbelievable! If you’re looking for a place with a small hike but a big view then this is the place! After we enjoyed the view for a while of a dozen or so mountain ranges we took to the woods and completed “the big loop.” For 3 small kids the hill back up to the car was a lot but the variety of terrain made it distracting enough that they made it. There was almost no mud and very little bugs on the day we went which was extra helpful.

Great spot! There are a lot of roots/rocks along the trail, but overall, it is a pretty easy short hike with beautiful views.
