Nicely paved path for walking or biking. Hugged 1-90 but felt safe and was scenic with the water flowing around us. Walked 5 miles in, 5 out.

I came the second weekend in April and the the path was still covered in snow. I had come with plans to do a 3 1/2 mile run, which I went ahead and did anyway. Even with the snow, I enjoyed the trail. Ample parking and easy to access.
You do run next to private property at times, so you get a few barking dogs. But kther than that it seems pretty peaceful and tranquil at least for those couple of miles that I experience.

The Outlaw Inn and The Corner Bar. Two very old staples of Mullan life. Great hamburgers.

Outstanding ride. Sore butt though. We’ll get over it. Lots of wildlife. Three moose. Pleasant temperatures, no wind, great trail and well maintained.

We only road on the Wallace to Mullan part and it was a great trail. Plan on coming back and riding more of it.
