This is a cute sand covered Park. No swings and a big field used for soccer or other ball- sports. Tennis court has a hill next to it for spectating. A few picnic tables under a pavilion. There are bathrooms but they were locked. We had a quick walk across the street to use the public restrooms at the Maverick gas station. The basketball court was a bit untidy with chalk but Noone minded. There was not a working water fountain. Big parking lot.

This park has a nice tennis court, playground, large open grassy area, and this is a great place to park for getting on the paved Utah and Salt Lake Canal Trail. I roller skated on the trail, going East, and found an almost half pipe section to practice on that was across from a field of horses. (Pictured) Beautiful park and path!

I took my kids to play, and other than it being hot, due to being Summertime, they had fun. The equipment was hot to touch, so they couldn’t play on most of it, but they enjoyed what was in the shade. My daughter had to use the restroom, which one was unlocked, so after cleaning off the seat, she was able to use it. There was no toilet paper, as expected, and the smell of urine in the small unventilated room, was a bit overwhelming. They ran around on the grass, rolled down the hills, and climbed the rail by the tennis court. So overall, they had fun, but they are young and don’t understand the need for cleanliness, and caution during this pandemic.

This was a really nice park. Big wide open area to run or play and not worry if you are crowding other families or parties of people. I like it because I take my therapy dog so she can have free time. It’s the one place she can have a lot of space, we can run and not worry we will run into someone with another dog. They have a tennis court and a small children’s playground with a slide.
