My dog a docile GSP, whom was a rescue dog, was pursued by a very aggressive pit bull plus 3 other dogs immediately when we walked into the park. The owner of the pit bull who was the most aggressive dog was nowhere to be found. The pit grabbed mine by his harness and took him down. I was yelling at the dogs to stop. Finally some kind of a loud remote whistle went off on the pit bulls collar and it released my dog. This is pathetic dog ownership. If you have dogs that are aggressive or can be triggered, it is forbidden at this dog park to bring the dog in. Now I know to call the non police emergency number next time. Extremely scary experience. My poor dog was scared to death.

Nice park, good turnout for dogs. There are mildly poisonous mushrooms scattered around and several areas where ants are prominent. My dog has personally been hospitalized due to an allergic reaction to ant bites, I have to observe him here extra carefully to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Called and left a message to the maintenance people for the park to be made aware and got no response and no solution.

It was a great place to take my dog on a Saturday morning. It was packed with other dogs which meant it was easy to get my dog to play. One of the regulars there did tell us that on Fridays they clean it, but if that’s the case there was A LOT of poop just laying around then. Owners need to do better at cleaning up after their dogs. Otherwise, great spot for you to take your dog!

Plenty of owners don’t pick up after their dogs (Eeeew), but the yard is big and most of the dogs have good manners. The urine smell is staggering, especially given it rained heavily 2 days ago. They have dog watering stations and provide poopy bags.. They might want to consider posting them at the pavilion, too. Our monster had a great time.

It is a very nice dog park but the owners are the problem. guy with big white pit mix always go to the smaller dog side even though the big dog area is 3 steps away. no self aware and the rules are mere suggestions. most big dog are not aggressive but they play rough and might stomp the small ones. jerks just ruin it for everyone.
