So me and my wife were in town visiting family, we love to walk together and explore. Although im 100 for it because u cant be to careful, we were not able to enter the park and swing together, we do not have kids and there is rules for a reason. Other than my childish disappointment this place is great, well shaded. It feels safe

Very nice, clean, friendly, park. There’s a beautiful water fountain in the middle of the park, and there’s great set of playgrounds for kids.

Great weekend night in Lyndhurst. First time attending an event at the park. I was really pleased with how well the town developed the area. The band shell is a beautiful permanent wood beam structure. They put in rows of aluminum bench seats for about 1/3 of the viewing area of the stage. The rest of the park has paths and grass so you can bring a chair or blanket and sit on the grass. They have a fountain towards the rear of the park and a playground as well. We were there on a hot hot evening and the shade from the trees and the fountain gave some much needed cooling off until the sun went down. Again the area is very well laid out. And I can see a new modern, but well architected to the area, train station going in. There is light vehicle traffic around the park which is great for people to enjoy the park and walk in the area. There is a really nice strip mall right next door to the park. You can get some food and drinks to enjoy at the park if you like. Overall a great well maintained area for all those who visit.

For a comparatively small size municipal park, Lyndhurst Municipal Park has an astounding abundance to offer. The keynote feature is the performance stage, with seating for several hundred people to enjoy the occasional concerts taking place there. This park also has an iconic water fountain which is tranquilizing during the daytime, and puts on a spectacular display when lit at night. Also in the park there is a gazebo, a picnic area with about 10 tables, a large wallball wall, and numerous shaded walking paths with plenty of benches to relax on. The kids aren’t left out either, with multiple jungle gyms, swings, and a fenced in playground. For finishers, a commemorative bust of Christopher Columbus, donated by the local UNICO, can be found in the northeast corner of the park. All in all, a total delight.
