West Liberty Town Park is a local gem in West Liberty, West Virginia, offering a quiet and well-maintained outdoor space for families and pet owners alike. While not exclusively a dog park, the area provides ample green space where you can bring your dog for a fun outing. Users often mention its well-kept pavilion—complete with a charcoal grill—making it a convenient spot for picnics.
The park sits just off the beaten path, providing a peaceful escape with a playground for kids and a friendly community atmosphere. Parking is street-only, so plan accordingly. Although there’s no designated, fenced dog park area nor public restrooms, this space still stands out as a dog-friendly park in West Liberty with open, grassy areas to run and relax.
Small park, no swings for babies. My son had fun running around, but what’s there now compared to 6 years ago is different.

Has a well maintained pavilion with a charcoal grill. Nice playground in the back.
Parking is limited, all of it being street parking on WV-88. No public bathroom (at least not one I have found).
I suspect (but don’t know) you can reserve it by calling the Town of West Liberty.
