Great park! Okay normal playground area. Walking trail around a nice sized pond with a fountain in the middle. A large gazebo in the midst of some beautiful large swamp trees with Spanish moss hanging. We had fun here. A very nice park.
Nice little park with enclosed area for dogs, pavilions, basketball courts, bathrooms, and a short, shaded path around the pond. This is where most people park when visiting the nearby paved bike path. Just follow the signs.
The park area is nice, but someone needs to clean off the graffiti that is evident throughout the park. There are several references to drugs and other topics that are not appropriate for this review.
Notably, there is also an un-fenced trench that runs all around the park. The trench is about 8-9ft down into swamp water. It’s a bit concerning if your kids decide to run off as they may fall into the trench.
Otherwise, a nice park that seems well maintained.

We decided to go for a walk and play some basketball, me and my family, this is what we found right next to the basketball court, just great, can have dogs but can’t pick up their poop, can’t even have a nice family afternoon without dog shit on the court, still a nasty park because of some dog people
It used to be good but now it’s full of dog crap anymore. People with dogs have made that place disgusting. 🤮
I recently revisited this park—my childhood playground—and realized something kind of beautiful: we’re the same age now. We’ve both grown, weathered a few storms, and carry our history in subtle ways. Coming back as an adult hit differently. I wasn’t just walking paths or sitting on benches—I was retracing my childhood steps with grown-up eyes. If you grew up here, I highly recommend visiting again. Not just to relive the memories, but to make peace with how far you’ve come. The park hasn’t stayed the same, and neither have you—but that’s not a bad thing. That’s life. And in this little corner of the world, it’s still pretty beautiful.
