Very nice park but many inconsiderate people with dogs off-leash. My grandson was terrified when dogs came running up to him. Telling a 9 year old that your dog doesn’t bite doesn’t help. Who’s supposed to be enforcing the leash laws?

We decided to have a picnic lunch with the kids
This was a great place to spread a big blanket and enjoy the shade of the beautiful trees and the sounds of birds while eating and playing with the kids. Great for reading a good book or just taking a nap.

Situated in middle of picturesque Mānoa Valley adjacent to Mānoa Stream and residential homes.
Large and spacious community park with well maintained facilities including a gym, swimmimg pool, tennis and basketball courts, facilities for youth baseball. Easy access. Large parking lot at end of Kaʻaipu Ave. Area is very green after rainy season and on sunny days. However it rains often and is sometimes very windy. Gets dusty when baseball infields are raked on windy days.
