If you’re traveling through Boron or looking for a quick, well-maintained spot for your dog to stretch their legs, the Dog Park at Love’s Travel Stops is an excellent pet-friendly stop. Located right off the highway, this Boron, CA dog park features two fenced sections – one for large dogs and one for small dogs, giving you peace of mind about your pup’s safety while socializing or playing off-leash. The small dog area even includes a patch of grass for extra comfort. There’s plenty of parking onsite, and the nearby truck parking is sectioned away from regular cars, making the experience quieter and safer.
The park is thoughtfully designed with dog owners in mind, offering poop bags, a picnic table for seating, and ample lighting for evening visits – perfect for road trips with your pet or a pit stop on a long drive. While there is no water fountain visible for either dog area, the park provides an easy, accessible, and safe spot for your dog to play off-leash and for owners to take a break.
Nice dog park with two sections for big dogs and small dogs with the small dog section having some grass. There were poop bags available and a picnic table to sit at! Plenty of parking around too. Nice that the trucks are parked away from cars so it’s not so loud. Bathrooms were clean. Small dog park doesn’t have a water fountain and I didn’t notice for the large dog park.
Well lit with plenty of lights for evening visits
