The beach there is absolutely beautiful! You can only drive on the beach there if you have 4 WD, But there is a bath house and shower to use. Parking across the street at either CVS or strip mall. It cost to park at Beach ramp.

Nice Beach to bring your Dog but they must be leashed. The Beach was shorter than we hoped but long enough for a lot of fun. Parking is pricey but if you come later in the day there may free parking on the street so check before paying in a lot.

This is a piece of heaven on earth for dogs and their humans. The officially designated Dog Beach rums from Milsap Rd to Rockefeller Dr in Ormond Beach along A1A. There are many access points, you can even drive a vehicle (4×4) along this stretch of sand and park on the beach if walking is too strenuous for you and your pup. Respect the rules, dogs must be on leashes no longer than 6 ft. Pick up after your pet too, there are multiple dog poop bags stations along the beach and many trash cans too. Be aware that if you are not a Volusia County resident there is a charge to park in the County lots or drive on the beach. Enough with the background, here’s the real info. This dog friendly beach came into existence thanks to volunteers and the non profit Daytona Dog Beach Inc. Thanks to them and their volunteer Paw Ambassadors for diligently advocating for this beach and for keeping it clean. Dogs absolutely love it here, you can meet new friends, they get fresh air and food exercise. Our dog loves this place so much, he gets so excited on the ride over and he absolutely loves meeting new people and pups. It is .61 miles one way so you can get a nice little walk in going up and down the dog area. Be sure to bring a water dish for your pup, there are water showers and faucets at the rams to the beach. Get out there and get those paws in the sand. And have fun, see you out there.

This is a great beach, just up the road from Daytona and it’s never crazy busy. Always clean, friendly people, and great views without massive crowds. Always keep a eye out for sharks but other than that you’ll have a great time
