Perfect place to take your pet, dog owners must pick up their poop so that the place is always clean

I love it there already!! I just don’t like that some pet parents don’t pick up their pup’s poop. I hope this doesn’t become a bad habit, it would be a shame if it isn’t kept up.

THE GOOD:
There’s a side for big and small dogs. Kiddie pool on big dog side. Water bowls around the park. Chest of toys (they were wet because of the recent Hurricane Milton so we didn’t get to experience them, but that’s nobody’s fault). Large area with gazebo and benches on each side.
THE BAD:
PICK. UP. AFTER. YOUR. DOGS. PLEASE.
It stinks and I stepped in some, which is probably gonna stain my NULL-NULL Vans shoes.
Also, if your dog is smelling my dog’s backside, and my dog is walking away while kicking dirt at your dog, clearly trying to get away, and your dog keeps going? How about you either move or leash your clearly untrained dog. (Very real thing that happened.) Don’t mind my rambling about that, but please maintain your dogs.
No restrooms, by the way.
THE TIPS:
Bring an extra toy, don’t rely on the ones there.
Look after your dog, including picking up waste and making sure they’re not rowdy.
Bring a drink (please do so for yourself, use your judgement for pets).

Yay !!! Marion Oaks finally has a dog park and I couldn’t be happier . They have two different sections for small and large dogs . They have gazebos in each section to sit in and a benches as well . I’ve been three times since it’s opening last week and it’s been clean with plenty of doggy bags for picking up your dogs waste . They have pools for the dogs to take a dip and water hose to fill up the drinking water bowls . My only complaint is that it’s Florida and it’s so hot that I wish they had more trees for shade . They only have three trees total and although that’s better than nothing a few more would be preferably. Anyway it’s a great addition to have here in Marion Oaks so I no longer have to commute all the way to silver springs shores and my dogs are happy to be able to run, play , and socialize

Nice place to bring your dog for exercise and play!🐾🐾 We’ll be going again.
