Located near the heart of the Atlantic Beach community, the Atlantic Beach Dog Park offers a safe, members-only retreat for dogs and their owners. The park features a cushioned track, beautiful pond, and leafy trees, making it a scenic and dog-friendly spot. Friendly locals, affordable membership, and plenty of open space create a welcoming atmosphere where your pup can socialize and play off-leash.
Highlights include a swimming pond, shaded benches, pet-friendly trails around the water, and a hose station for rinsing off muddy dogs before heading home. Atlantic Beach Dog Park is wheelchair accessible and exceptionally clean, making it a great choice for local dog lovers searching for a top-rated dog park in Atlantic Beach, FL.
Great little place to let your dog run around off leash and play with other dogs. I just wish people would stop opening the gate for others who “my pass stopped working” there is a reason or stopped working!! Go to the city office and find out why!
There is plenty of room for the dogs to run around a nice sized lake with bushes, trees and a nice rubbery kind of track that is gentle on the dogs paws. There is also a faucet and hose area, as well as multiple tennis balls available. It is a one-time nominal fee, and a card is issued to be used every time you go, not like other parks where you pay each time you go. The people and dogs are friendly, and all the dogs get along well. Benches available to sit in the shade or sun.
This is my first time taking my baby to a dog park. He had a blast. Not only did he make new friends he also got real muddy and dirty, but that’s okay. Before you leave the park you can rinse out your babies with the hose. I wish there was more grass, but he was able to swim and get dirty. I will definitely bring him back here again when I come up from NC.
Great spot. My dog loved it.
I would give it 5 stars but this is not a public park. You have to get a pass from the city that costs about NULL/year. I didn’t see that mentioned anywhere when I looked this place up and found it on Google Maps. So don’t pull up thinking you can just walk in.
There’s not a lot of open running room as the park is mostly a cushioned track around the pond. There are a few benches around the track but most seating is in the playground area.
But there were plenty of tennis balls to be found and thrown and it was very clean.
Lovely place, with lots of room for dog to enjoy running, throwing balls and swimming. Very affordable membership fee.
I only wish that people wouldn’t stand and chat while blocking the gate 😩
