🐾 How to Handle Aggressive Dogs at the Dog Park – Real Advice from Dog Owners
Visiting the dog park can be a joyful activity for both you and your furry friend—but aggressive encounters can quickly […]
Conveniently located right off FL-206, the Dog Park at Love’s Travel Stops offers a quick and accessible spot for travelers and locals seeking a dog-friendly space in St. Augustine. This dog park is wheelchair accessible, with both an accessible entrance and parking lot, making it easy for everyone to visit. It’s an ideal pit stop for road trippers as you can refuel your vehicle, grab snacks, use restrooms, and let your dog take a much-needed break all in one place.
Visitors highlight the park’s overall cleanliness and ease of access, though some mention that it can become dirty during busy periods, and noise from nearby truck traffic can be significant. The park features benches for seating, but its proximity to the truck area makes for a lively, sometimes loud atmosphere. While it’s not a large regional park with extensive amenities, it’s a practical and helpful choice for people traveling with pets seeking a brief respite or a convenient spot for exercise.
Perfect place to relieve your dogs, yourself and refill your vehicle with fuel and you with food/drinks!
Clean park mostly. Not everyone is good about cleaning up after their dogs. My biggest issue is the park is right by the trucks entrance and exit so the noise level is off the charts.
