There are a few different trail options. It’s a good idea to take a picture of the map at the trailhead. Start on the east side so you don’t lose the sun as it sets because it gets chilly. Went in October.

Great vistas throughout the couple of trails. Parking lot gets full pretty fast gets lighter around lunch and the heavy again right after. Trails are usually pretty muddy in spots. But wide trails for hiking with a partner.

Beautiful views of Red Rocks and the city. This is a good hike for different skill levels and kids. My three year old was able to make it to the top of the steeper incline. Parking fills up quickly!
